Shelby Grant, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
Shelby Grant is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC). She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Clemson University, where she graduated with honors as a student-athlete on the Clemson Cheerleading team. Shelby then pursued her nursing education at Northeastern University, graduating with honors before completing her Master of Science in Nursing with honors and a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration from the University of North Alabama.
With seven years of experience as a Registered Nurse, Shelby dedicated much of her career to caring for neonates and pediatric patients at Levine Children’s Hospital. During this time, she took on leadership roles within multidisciplinary teams, contributing to the development of clinical processes that focused on patient-centered care and strengthening the provider-patient/family relationship. Shelby has seen firsthand how collaborative care can elevate patient outcomes, and she brings this commitment to her practice as a Nurse Practitioner.
Throughout her graduate clinical training, Shelby had the privilege of gaining invaluable experience and mentorship from the providers at Ballantyne Medical Associates, where she came to admire their commitment to evidence-based practices and personalized care. With Ballantyne Medical Associates strong dedication to advancing medical professionals in our community and their numerous training partnerships with medical, physician assistant, and nurse practitioner programs along the East Coast, Shelby is both honored and grateful to have been selected to join the Ballantyne Medical Associates team. She is eager to collaborate with patients of all ages, empowering them to achieve their best health and supporting their long-term well-being.
Outside of work, Shelby takes great joy in attending Clemson football games at her beloved alma mater, where the excitement and school spirit always make for memorable experiences. She also loves unwinding at the beach, cherishing the opportunity to relax and create lasting memories with family and friends.
