Covid-19 historical updates
COVID-19 PRE-SCREENING TRIAL
We are currently enrolling patients who may be at increased or high risk of COVID-19 progression if they become infected with Covid and who are not ideal candidates for Paxlovid secondary to use of concomitant medications such as atorvastatin, tamsulosin, clopidogrel, alprazolam, simvastatin, amlodipine, rivaroxaban and others.
Patients will be enrolled and go home with COVID-19 Testing kits.
If they become ill they will test at home. If positive we will fast track you into the office to begin EARLY treatment for 5 days with the oral anti-viral Molnupiravir. This is currently available from Merck under the brand name Lagevrio.
There is no cost to patients or their insurance company for participation and patients are compensated for their time and travel.
